Journey to Kuala Lumpur (13 October - 16 October 2016) Part 2

After buying the ERL tickets, we waited for the train to come and proceed to KL Sentral. The journey took about half an hour from klia2 to KL Sentral. Fast is it? There are 2 trains, which one of them will stop at several location before finally stops at KL Sentral. If you opt to use taxi or bus, the journey will take longer, most probably an hour.

KLIA Ekspres

Upon arriving at KL Sentral, we looked for restaurants, as my dad and uncle haven't had their breakfast and brunch yet. After lunch, we proceed to look for any available hotel near Putra World Trade Center (PWTC). We made phone calls, and searched on hotel's website as well. Most of them were already full, so we opted to call the last option which is Lucky 11 Hotel. Luckily, there was a room available with a reasonable price per night.

Before going to the next destination, Lucky 11 Hotel

At Lucky 11 Hotel, the hospitality was very nice, although the hotel did not have any elevator. The receptionist was a Sabahan and she said that the hotel owner is from Lawas, Sarawak. Hey, I was born in Lawas eh hahaha. Okay, moving on. After my dad settled the accomodation, we went to our room. It was cozy and just nice. The most important thing was that, it is super near to Sunway Putra Mall and PWTC.

Lucky 11 Hotel, Jalan Ipoh Kecil

We took rest for about 2 hours, before we decided to walk around at Sunway Putra Mall. The distance from the hotel to the mall was roughly the same with the distance from my rent house to Summer Mall. Pancak kentut ko Iban hahahahaha. Upon entering the mall, I was like, wow, this is the feeling of the mall at Kuala Lumpur. So many things and brands that I have never heard of before. Pardon my childish statement, but I was really fascinated. Well, it took me 11 years to finally be at Kuala Lumpur.

Journey to Kuala Lumpur (13 October - 16 October 2016) Part 1

It was my very first time to go to my country capital city, Kuala Lumpur. I always wanted to go there to see the things I've only seen on TV. Last August, my dad asked me if I could join him to the convocation ceremony, which held at PWTC this October. I said, of course I want to join, it's been a long time since I waited for the opportunity to come. I was very happy, considering I was on my industrial training attachment at that time, far far away from home. I asked my dad to confirm my flights. I was on cloud nine.

It was on the year 2005 when I started to dream of going to Kuala Lumpur to see all those skyscrapers that are not available at Borneo Island. Also, I wanted to try using all those public transports such as ERL, LRT and monorail.

The picture was taken by me (luckily I got the window seat). I think it is Pulau Natuna of Indonesia. I only slept for around 45 minutes during the journey, then I always looked outside, while listening to the songs from mp3 player.

Upon arriving KLIA2, my dad called me to meet before going to the next destination. I thought I arrived earlier since my flight was from KCH, while my dad and uncle's flight was bound from Bintulu. Then, I suggested to go to KL Sentral using KLIA Ekspres. Each ticket costed us RM 55, but we used it anyway, because why not.

My Comeback

So, it's been a really long time since the last time I blog, which was 4 years ago. Luckily I still remember the password for this account. Hehehe. You could say, this is my comeback.

By the way, now I'm in my final year of bachelor's degree in UNIMAS. Three years here and I can say it has been a journey. Now I'm doing my final year project regarding wastewater treatment, which is closely related to the stuff I did during my internship attachment at Lana Palm Oil Mill, Bintulu.
